August 13, 2024

The Gumala Trust Board wishes to advise Beneficiaries of the General Gumala Foundation (“GIPL”) and Members of Gumala Aboriginal Corporation (“GAC”) that the Review of the Foundation is underway.

The foundation review will deliver an assessment of the overall performance of the Foundation, which will include evaluating the delivered benefits aligned with the Foundation’s objectives and the aspirations of the current Traditional Owners.

All beneficiaries will receive a unique website link to complete the survey, on the 14th of August.

This survey will be open from the 14th of August until 5pm on the 28th of August. Gumala Beneficiaries will receive a $400 payment to either their flexi program or bank account. The preferences of these payments will be taken from previous preferences. Top-up/bank payments will be made to Beneficiaries on the 4th of September.

The outcome of the Review will include the results and any recommendations for improvements for the areas within the terms of reference. These outcomes and results from the review are intended to be discussed at the consultation session held at the upcoming 2024 GAC and GIPL AGMs.
