GIPL Welcomes Kirsty Moore to the Board as an Independent Director

Kirsty is a Councillor for the Australian Institute of Company Directors in WA, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Fellow of CPA Australia. She has an undergraduate degree in Economics and a strong background in technical accounting, corporate governance, and commercial finance.

Kirsty is the former CEO of Indigenous Business Australia (IBA), a Commonwealth Government commercial entity which delivers financial services to advance the economic circumstances of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Australia. During her six years with IBA, Kirsty worked with many Indigenous organisations across Australia.

Prior to joining IBA, Kirsty was a director with the WA Government where she had responsibility for asset management of the state’s social housing asset portfolio and she spent a lot of time in the Pilbara while working in this role.

Since 2019, Kirsty has been a Non-Executive Director of the Women’s Legal Service of WA which is a not for profit community legal centre that provides legal services to women across WA with a particular focus on  family violence, family law and protection and care.

Kirsty lives on Whadjuk Noongar country with her partner and their three children. She loves to cook for her family and support her children at school and is the manager of her daughter’s cricket team.
